Do you take your whole basket to knit night?

Do you take your whole basket to knit night?

Hello, and happy Thursday!

Heather here 🙋‍♀️ and I'm back with my weekly email of what's happening at Ewe Ewe Yarns.

Thank you to everyone who sent nice messages or posted in our KAL Facebook Group about the latest Celebration Blanket square. I love the trellis stitch that Wendy Bernard chose for her block and I'm happy you do, too!

If you haven't grabbed the latest square you can get the free pattern here – I can't believe we're on number 7 already! When I look at the blanket webpage I can really see it coming together now. So exciting! Take a look >

 knitting basket

It's hot but I'm still knitting, are you?

The other night I just picked up my basket from beside the couch and took the entire thing with me to Sip + Stitch! It had everything I needed so I thought, why not?! I caught a crazy little side-eye from my husband as I walked out the door with it, though. 👀 haha. ByEE.

August is always a slow time for business in the knitting world. The days are sunny and warm and I think we're all trying to enjoy those warm summer evenings before they fade into autumn. I even have a few yarn stores that close up shop in August to recharge before the season kicks in again.

I have A LOT of fun stuff for us here in Ewe Ewe Land. 💞 We have the last four Celebration Blanket squares, you know I love my Holiday Knits, and we've been putting together a wonderful collection of Yarn Kits to take the guesswork away from choosing project yarns.

Pop Top sweaters

In addition to those ideas, I also have a new cardigan pattern in the works!

You may recognize my brightly colored Pop Top pullover – that I sadly bleached in the sun last month – and now it has a new cardi friend!

The Pop Top Cardigan is a relaxed, open-front sweater perfect to throw as the days get cooler. It has extra stitches up front so you can wear it open with a drape or hold it closed with a pretty shawl pin. I love it so much!

This is where my favor comes in...

If you could take this QUICK SURVEY and tell me about your sweater knitting skills that would really help me out. It's just 5 questions, super fast.

Thank you for stopping by today and being a part of the Ewe Ewe community. I hope you've found a little does of knitting inspiration and are getting excited for sweater weather!

Happy knitting,
💗 Heather

P.S. – I'd really appreciate it if you would take my sweater survey; it will be less than a minute of your day. Thank you so much!
