Sneak Peek: The Mood Behind My 3 Newest Yarn Colors
At Ewe Ewe Yarns, color is everything.
From soft pastels to bright primaries to cool neutrals, our rainbow has always been carefully curated to bring creativity, a smile, and cohesion to your knitting projects.
But this fall, I'm adding three brand-new colors to the Ewe Ewe lineup!
Over the past few months, I asked our community: “What color is missing from the Ewe Ewe rainbow?”
The responses were thoughtful, vibrant, and overflowing with inspiration. So much so, I couldn’t choose just one — I chose three!
Before I reveal the skeins, I want to share the mood behind each new color. Here’s a peek at what’s coming soon…
☀️ Sunshine: Bold, Bright, and Beautifully Uplifting
Think golden mornings, blooming wildflowers, and tart lemons in a summer breeze. Sunshine is pure cheerfulness packed into a ball of yarn.
You’ve asked for a yellow that’s clean, bright, and happy — without a greenish cast — and this color delivers. Sunshine is made for joyful baby knits, statement stripes, and radiant accessories that light up your needles (and your day).

🍊 Persimmon: Spicy, Sweet, and Fall-Ready
This one brings the heat. Inspired by turning leaves, golden hour light, and comfy autumn textures, Persimmon adds a bold pop of spice to the Ewe Ewe rainbow.
It’s warm, vibrant, and just the thing for fall hats, mitts, or a little colorwork punch. Whether paired with browns for an earthy feel or with a cool blue for contrast, Persimmon adds depth and drama to your palette.

☕ Mocha: A Cozy, Grounding Neutral Inspired by Simple Pleasures
Soft, subtle, and a little indulgent, Mocha was inspired by Pantone’s Mocha Mousse — the 2025 Color of the Year described as a hue that invites us to slow down, breathe deep, and find beauty in everyday comforts. 🤎
Picture a swirl of chocolate in your morning coffee. A long walk through the woods. A shawl made for gifting ...or keeping. Mocha is a versatile neutral that blends seamlessly with almost every color in the Ewe Ewe lineup.

These three new colors — Sunshine, Persimmon, and Mocha — will be available later this month in Ewe So Sporty, Wooly Worsted, and Baa Baa Bulky.
