Neonpolitan Shawl – Easy Beginner Knitting Project!

Knitting the Neonpolitan shawl is fun, easy and colorful!

This lightweight project is designed for a thin, fingering weight yarn. We use our Fluffy Fingering yarn which is a bouncy merino wool that comes in a ton of colors. 

The color combinations are endless with Ewe Ewe yarns because all the shades are designed to work together! Here are a bunch of ideas – knit the shawl to look like mine, or choose another one of these combos, or create your own blend. 

Neonpolitan uses 3 colors of Fluffy Fingering yarn for a total of about 600 yards of yarn. I knit the original in this combination of Citrus Pop, Brushed Silver and Charcoal.

How will the shawl look in other colors?

Let's start by just changing 1 of the 3 colors of yarn. Try it with a bright pink or soften the look by switching out for a soft green. Both great!
