Twisted, elongated stitches are worked adjacent to the edges, and the increases, to highlight the geometry of the Softly Spoken shawl.
This lovely little shawlette works up quickly using just two colors of Ewe So Sporty merino yarn.

Made the child size for my great grandson who will be six in a couple of weeks. Pattern was easy to follow and worked up really nice in some worsted wool I had in my stash.
