Designed by Meaghan Schmaltz, Luisa is a classic top-down circular yoke pullover built around our bouncy, squishy Baa Baa Bulky 100% superwash merino wool! This easy-wearing sweater features clean stockinette, cozy garter stitch cuffs and hem, and a sturdy ribbed collar.
Because it’s knit seamlessly from the neck down, you can try it on as you go to get your perfect body and sleeve length. It’s the ultimate layering piece to toss over denim shirts, tunics, or dresses as the seasons turn!

🪡 Needles & Tools:

Small Needles: US 8 / 5 mm circular needles (16 in. / 40 cm and 32–40 in. / 80–100 cm) for ribbed collar and garter cuffs/hem. Optional extra 16 in. needle for tubular bind-off.

Large Needles: US 10 / 6 mm circular needles (16–40 in. / 40–100 cm) for body, plus preferred small-circumference needles for sleeves.

Notions: 1 stitch marker, 2 lengths of smooth waste yarn (or stitch holders), tapestry needle, row counter (optional).
📏 Gauge:

16 sts and 23 rows = 4 in. / 10 cm in Stockinette st worked in the round on larger needles, after blocking.

I have made this before in the cold indicated on the pattern I would like to know how the colors I have purchased r to be knitted with this color way.
I purchased this yarn in Red Poppy. saffron and vanilla to make a pair of Christmas socks for Christmas in July featuring Gingerbread Men. So far the colors are perfect for the characters. The yarn is squishy and soft. I have purchased this yarn, and others from Ewe Ewe before and it gets even softer after washing and blocking.
I’m loving the yarn and the pattern and enjoying playing with lace. I love Ewe Ewe yarns in general and this sport weight does not disappoint. I’m finding the pattern so sweet with the onesies and twosies. Cute idea.
I’m making some socks with the fingering weight and it’s knitting up beautifully.
This is a colorful, easy pattern to follow. It's has clear directions. I haven't started mine yet but gathering my yarn for new great grandson.
I love the Ewe So Sporty Merino yarn so much. To me it is the best Merino wool I’ve ever used.
Used aquamarine bulky for baby blanket. Thoroughly enjoyed using this yarn abd blanket is beautiful!
I have always loved Ewe Ewe yarn! Over many years, I have knitted with every yarn weight, they all knit up beautifully and every stitch stands out in a way that other brands don’t. Picture 3D versus flat.
I am unable to remember repetitive knitting rows. Memorizing is a mightmare for me. But this knit was so easy that even I was able to retain the pattern in my head after looking at the row. The Ewe Ewe yarn is soft, stretchy and the perfect yarn!

When I ordered I didn’t notice the yarn was worsted weight. I completed a couple of projects recently with Fluffy Fingering yarn and that’s what I expected this kit to be. I’m going to order Fluffy Fingering Yarn to make this cowl and hope that works out.
I downloaded the winter cowl pattern and am going to use the worsted to make that.
It’s all a win-win for me and I’ve learned to be more aware.
