A light and airy tank top that is perfect to wear as a springtime layer or all through the warm summer months. The Clear Skies Tank combines easy-to-remember eyelet patterns with clean stockinette stitch for a quick, joyful project that flies off your needles.

Knit seamlessly from the bottom up in the round, this top features a beautiful 2x2 ribbing texture that effortlessly flows into rows of delicate eyelets. The look is beautifully finished with custom-knit straps that fasten at the back with a classic two-button detail.

## creative joy

Why you'll love knitting this tank:

  • 100% Superwash Merino: Knit in our bouncy Fluffy Fingering yarn, giving you an ultra-soft garment that keeps its shape and feels like a cloud against your skin.

  • Zero Side Seams: Worked entirely in the round up to the armholes for a smooth, seamless finish and easy weaving-in of your ends.

  • Boutique Details: Features picked-up straps with functional back-button closures so you can adjust the length perfectly to your frame.

  • Modern Wardrobe Staple: Looks gorgeous worn on its own with high-waisted jeans, or paired up with its inspiration piece, the original Clear Skies Cowl!

## smart

Heather's Design Notes: ✍️

  • Customizing Your Length: If you would like to add a bit of length to your tank body, distribute it evenly within the plain stockinette sections at the very top (Panel 1) and bottom (Panel 5). For example, adding roughly 1” / 2.5 cm of length is as simple as adding 8 rounds: 4 rounds into Panel 1 and 4 rounds into Panel 5!

  • Strap Measurements: The strap lengths provided in the pattern instructions measure 13.5” / 34.5 cm before working the buttonhole row. Step-by-step notes are included to easily adjust these shorter or longer to fit your frame.

  • Yardage Strategy: Please note that the specified skein quantities do not include extra yardage for swatching or modifying length. If you plan to knit a large gauge swatch or lengthen your tank, you may want to grab an extra skein of Fluffy Fingering to ensure you don't run short!
