I haven’t gotten to the shawl yet. I’m trying to get a blanket, sweater and hat done before Christmas.
I had some Debbie Bliss Paloma in my yarn stash in a ruby color. I adjusted the number of stitches to work with a #15 needle (20 st.). This pattern worked wonderful with the bulky yarn. One can appreciate the alpaca and merino combination since it knits up in a roomy open pattern. My granddaughter will love this.

Made this beanie for my 5-year-old grandson in red & blue. It knit up quickly, and was fun to make. It is nice and stretchy so I’m sure he can wear it until he’s old enough to pooh-pooh Gramma’s handmade stuff. ;) I’m sure I’ll be making this again.
