The Ghost Halloween Hat is a playful colorwork knit: a row of friendly ghosts worked in two-color stranded knitting against a darker background, finished with a big, squishy pom pom. It works up nicely on worsted weight needles, so there's still time to have it on your head before the trick-or-treaters show up. 🍫
To make things easy, we've bundled the yarn and pattern for this project into one kit. No hunting down the right yarn amounts. Just pick your colors, add to cart, and knit.

- A printed copy of the Ghost Halloween Hat knitting pattern (Ewe Ewe Yarns Pattern #266, designed by Heather Walpole)
- 3 skeins of Wooly Worsted 100% superwash merino wool: 2 skeins of background color, 1 skein of ghost color
What you'll need (not included)
- US 7 (4.5 mm) 16" circular knitting needles
- US 7 (4.5 mm) double-pointed knitting needles
- 1 stitch marker
- A darning needle to weave in your ends
- A 3" pom pom maker

The yarn is wonderful and customer service is top notch.
There will be knots in some skeins which is normal. I don't know if this will pill or not until it's knit into something but it's the nature of Merino to do so but that doesn't bother me. I only needed 3 skeins but the price was so good that I bought 5. It's super soft like you would expect and the proper thickness for a fingering sock weight. I split the skeins into (6) 56 to 58 gram skeins and dyed up 5. They took the dye nicely and I am pleased with my results. My yarn was packaged well/nicely and shipped VERY quickly and arrived at my doorstep safe and sound. I would purchase this again.
I ordered the baa bag bulky for my hat pattern, that I also bought from Eye eye yarns. I love this yarn !! It is so nice to work with. It is also soo soft!
