EXTRA NOTES
This cowl is knit flat, starting at the long bottom edge. As such you can use your preferred needle length; a circular needle is not required.
Written instructions are provided for the entirety of the cowl. Optional charts are provided.
This project uses mosaic knitting to create colorwork motifs. Only one color will be used per row. You can leave the unused color hanging at the edge of the work until it is used again. Do not break yarns unless instructed; this will save on yardage and ends to weave in.
When choosing colors, consider that all of the colors interact except for Colors A and D, (i.e., are adjacent to or are used in a mosaic pattern). So if you love all 4 colors, but don’t want two of them to be next to each other, make those two A and D.
When swatching, use Color A. It uses the least amount of yardage within the project and offers plenty for swatching.
