Is this right for me?

Level 2–3 Β· Finding Your Rhythm to Ready to Stretch
β€œI've finished a few hats or cowls and can read my knitting.” or β€œI'll knit a sweater if the pattern holds my hand.”

New in this project: Knitting in the round, two-color stranded colorwork, crown decreases, and a pom pom.

If you get stuck: Browse our Knitting Knowledge tutorials, ask in the Secret Society of Knitters community, or email Heather.

Two spooky Halloween hats in one knitting pattern. Knit a row of friendly ghosts or a web of black widow spiders, or cast on both. Each beanie is worked in the round in two colors of Wooly Worsted and finished with a big, squishy pom pom.

This is a two-color stranded colorwork hat in worsted weight that uses just three skeins. It's a fun project to have on your needles as October gets closer.

Want the yarn and a printed pattern in one bundle? The Ghosts Hat Yarn Kit includes all three skeins of Wooly Worsted in your choice of color combo, plus a printed copy of this pattern. Prefer the spider? The Arachnid Hat Yarn Bundle has the yarn for the black widow hat.

Want the whole set? Both hats are also included in our Halloween Hats eBook.
