Finished Measurement: 34 (36.5, 38, 41.5, 44.5)[48.5, 51, 55, 59]” / 86.5 (92.5, 96.5, 105.5, 113)[123, 129.5, 139.5, 150] cm bust circumference with the front bands overlapped

To be worn with approximately 2-3” / 5-7.5 cm positive ease.

Note: The front of the cardigan is a bit roomier owing to the overlapping front bands; choose the finished size that is 2-3” / 5-7.5 cm larger than your full bust circumference so that the back fits properly. See full schematic of finished garment sizes on Page 7.

Yarn: Ewe Ewe Yarns, Baa Baa Bulky, 132 yards per 100g skein, 100% merino wool superwash, #5 bulky weight

5 (6, 6, 7, 7)[8, 8, 9, 10] skeins (80 Indigo)

Needles:

  • US 11 (8 mm) 32-40” / 80-100 cm circular needle for Body (or length preferred for comfort)
  • US 11 (8 mm) set of DPNs for Sleeves (or other preferred method of small circumference knitting)

 

Adjust needle size as necessary to match gauge.

Supplies: 6 ring stitch markers, locking stitch marker (optional), row counter, tapestry needle, smooth waste yarn

Gauge: 12 sts and 18 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch knit at, taken after blocking
