The Shift cowl is a fun slip stitch project that uses 3 colors of yarn. The colors change and shift throughout the cowl to create a beautiful visual effect!
Ewe So Sporty Merino yarn works perfectly to knit The Shift cowl designed by Andrea Mowry.
The cowl is worked flat and seamed at the back of the neck. It features an i-cord edge and the colors are carried up as the pattern is knit to reduce the number of ends to be woven in. Because of the nature of the design, you'll only ever be knitting with 1 color per row!
The Shift cowl is a good project for an adventurous beginner knitter looking to learn a few new techniques!

The colors are beautiful! My husband likes the blue, but I'm making the v next sweater for me.
I have used Ewe Ewe yarn for a long time. I don't know how many baby carseat blankets I have done but all have been out of Ewe Ewe. Since the yarn can be washed and dried in a machine it makes perfect baby blankets. It is also works up and is very soft.
