A simple rib stitch combines with garter stitch to create this bulky-weight set that’s great on both sides!
The set includes a beanie, a scarf, and mitts. Knit one, two, or all three designs!
This reversible pair has a side with smoother lines and the second side is full of texture. Wear it however you like, or both!
YARN AMOUNTS —
Beanie uses 1 ball of Baa Baa Bulky
Mitts use 1 ball for the two smaller sizes
Scarf uses 2 balls for the 4" and 3 balls for the 6" width

Samples are shown in size 1 with 1”/2.5 cm of negative ease for the fingerless mitts and size 1 with 0.75”/2 cm of negative ease for the full mittens.

Beanie: US 10 / 6 mm, 16” / 40 cm long circular needle and set of double pointed needles
Scarf: US 10 / 6 mm knitting needles
Mitts/Mittens: US 10 / 6 mm, 32” / 80 cm long circular needle
Supplies: Stitch marker (Beanie only), tapestry needle
Gauge: 21 sts and 18 rows = 4” / 10 cm in 1 x 1 ribbing worked in the round (beanie and mitts) and flat (scarf), taken after blocking (unstretched)

This is my second purchase of Ewe so Sporty yarn. I am using it to darn Smart Wool socks. It has washed well.

An easy pattern for a lovely scarf.
I haven't started knitting yet, but the yarn is soft and I love the muted colors. Instructions look easy enough for a beginner such as me. Looking forward to starting this weekend. Nice kit!!
