I chose this pattern because it reminds me of our relationship – at first glance, the colors look woven together but when the pattern is knit, only one color is worked at a time while the other color sits patiently waiting for their turn to shine. Finished size: 14" x 14" (35.5 x 35.5 cm) after blocking
Yarn: Ewe Ewe Yarns, Wooly Worsted, 95 yards per 50g skein, 100% merino wool superwash yarn, #4 worsted weight
Color B - 1 skein (53 Forest Fern)
Color C - 1 skein (10 Berry)

Needles: US 8 (5 mm) knitting needles
Supplies: 2 stitch markers, tapestry needle, locking stitch marker (optional), row counter (optional)
Gauge: 17 sts to 4" (10 cm) in garter stitch worked flat, after blocking.
Notes: You may wish to clip a locking marker to the RS of the project to differentiate the RS from the WS as you knit.
Carry the unused yarn loosely up the edge as you work - do not break the yarn at each color change.
Each odd-numbered row is a RS row and each even-numbered row is a WS row.

This is such a helpful tool! I have been using them daily, since I received them! This is a must have!
I bought this yarn in lemon chiffon and pink to make some headbands headband from Ewe Ewe Yarns pattern collection. I really love this yarn! The headbands knitted up fast and my daughters and granddaughter loves them.
I knit lots of hats and donate almost all of them and this is just easy to use with any kind of yarn!! I like having starting measurements and how tall to make them for different ages.
Easy to follow pattern and with thick ply wool, knit it in 2 days. Used mattress stitch to sew together, although not specified.
This is the simplest pattern ever but turns out very well. Thank you.
