Elizabeth Smith's original Gray Street cowl used shades of neutrals/gray (hence the name!) But your own Gray Street can be “Green Street”, “Blue Street”, “Orange Street” – any color combo you want!

Finished Measurements:
Long Version: approx 48”/122 cm circumference x 9”/23 cm height

Gauge: approx 15 sts & 20 rnds = 4”/10 cm in twisted 1x1 rib in the rnd after blocking*
*Exact gauge is not critical. The twisted rib st patt is stretchy (and will expand after blocking) and so exact gauge isn’t crucial (but may impact yarn usage).

Yarn: Baa Baa Bulky by Ewe Ewe Yarns (100% superwash merino wool; 100g = 132 yds).

Needles & Other Supplies:
• Long Version: US 11/8 mm 32”/80 cm circ, or size needed to obtain gauge.
• 1 stitch marker.
• Tapestry needle to weave in ends.
