Choosing colors for a multi-toned project should feel exciting, not overwhelming. If you’ve ever stood in a yarn shop or browsed online second-guessing if your shades will play nice together, I built this kit specifically for you.
I sat down at my design desk and personally hand-selected 11 foolproof color stories for the Mint Julep Shawl using our custom-engineered Ewe So Sporty merino wool palette.
Think of it like a professional box of colored pencils curated just for your needles—every single combination is visually balanced to ensure a stunning, high-contrast finish.

What's in the kit?
You'll get 3 balls of Ewe So Sporty (2 in the main color and 1 in the accent edge color) plus a printed copy of the Mint Julep Shawl pattern. Needles (US 7, 24" or 32" circular) and a darning needle aren't included.
I can't find my pattern. What should I do?
A printed copy of the pattern is packed in your kit. If you'd like a PDF copy too, or anything seems to be missing, email hello@eweewe.com with your order number and I'll send it right over.
Is this kit right for me?
This is a Level 1–2 project. The shawl is worked in knit stitch only, with an increase at one edge, so if you can knit you have what you need. If you get stuck, our Knitting Knowledge tutorials and the Secret Society of Knitters community are here to help, or you can email me.
Will the colors look like the photo?
Screens vary, so a color can look a little different in person. I hand-selected the 11 color combinations to look balanced together, but if you're unsure about one, email me before you order and I'll help you choose.
Should I order extra yarn?
The kit has the amount of yarn the pattern calls for. If you think you might make the shawl larger, it's better to order extra now. Dye lots vary from batch to batch, and I can't always match a specific lot later.
How do I care for my finished shawl?
My main recommendation is to soak your finished shawl in Soak Wash or another wool wash and block it, because blocking is where the stitches bloom. The yarn is also machine washable (inside out in cool water) and can tumble dry low, so everyday care is easy. All of our yarns are 100% fine superwash merino wool from Australia, spun and dyed in Italy.
How soon will my order ship, and what does it cost?
I pack and ship orders within one business day, six days a week including Saturday mornings. They go out by USPS Ground Advantage from Oceanside, California, so delivery time depends on USPS and where you live. Shipping is free on US orders over $75 and $5 on smaller US orders, and you'll get a tracking email when your order is on its way.
Can I return my yarn?
Unused items in their original condition can be returned within 30 days of receiving them. Email hello@eweewe.com with your name and order number and I'll take care of you. If something arrives damaged or isn't what you ordered, let me know right away and I'll make it right.

The yarn is wonderful and customer service is top notch.
There will be knots in some skeins which is normal. I don't know if this will pill or not until it's knit into something but it's the nature of Merino to do so but that doesn't bother me. I only needed 3 skeins but the price was so good that I bought 5. It's super soft like you would expect and the proper thickness for a fingering sock weight. I split the skeins into (6) 56 to 58 gram skeins and dyed up 5. They took the dye nicely and I am pleased with my results. My yarn was packaged well/nicely and shipped VERY quickly and arrived at my doorstep safe and sound. I would purchase this again.
I ordered the baa bag bulky for my hat pattern, that I also bought from Eye eye yarns. I love this yarn !! It is so nice to work with. It is also soo soft!
