This pattern is well written and one I think I'll make quite often as it's an easy pattern and one that either anyone can wear. Since I knit for charities as well as the homeless this pattern will be great. Will be starting one as soon as I finish the beanie on the needles.

The pattern instructions are clear and logical. The descriptions should allow even relatively new knitters to complete the cowl, a project that looks more complicated than it actually is.
Love them very much. Even used them on my cook books and reading magazines. Very useful.
